Although the important days are from 15 to 19 March, the Fallas begin to sound as early as January, with numerous activities that have led to this festival to be considered by the Intergovernmental Committee of UNESCO, Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Humanity.

The Fallas of Valencia is a show in itself, and any activity has a lot of interest. However, there are some events that form an essential part of this holiday and that should not be lost as they are:

• La Crida
• La Plantà
• La Cremà
• Flower Offering
• Illuminated streets
• Mascletaes Program
• Ninot Parade
• Exhibition of the Ninot
• Parade of the Fire
• Castles of fireworks and Gran Nit del Foc (Fire Night)

During the celebration the city is full of people and especially of the Great Monuments falleros. All the monuments falleros are visited until the Cremà.

As we have said, the fallas are distributed throughout the city. There are two falleros monuments that do not enter into competition, and are those that are planted in the Town Hall Square, which are the last to be burned.
